கோ பூஜை

“காவோ விஶ்வஸ்ய மாதர꞉” என்றவாறு மனித இனத்தினர் அனைவருக்கும் தாயைப் போல் பால் கொடுப்பதால் பசுக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் தாய் ஸ்தானத்தில் உள்ளன.

உத்தராயணத்தை அடுத்து சிறப்பாக கோ பூஜை செய்வது நமது பாரம்பரியம். வீட்டில் பசு வைத்துக்கொள்ள இயலாதவர்கள் அருகிலுள்ள பசுமடத்தில் செய்யலாம். அதுவும் இயலாவிடில் வீட்டிலேயே ப்ரதிமையோ படமோ கூட வைத்து பூஜிக்கலாம்.

இத்தகைய புண்யகாலங்களில் பசுமடங்களுக்கு நம்மால் ஆன உதவி செய்யலாம்.

கோ பூஜைக்கான லகுவான பூஜா பத்ததியும், இயன்றோர் செய்வதற்கு விரிவான பூஜா பத்ததியும் பல லிபிகளில் வெளியிடப்படுகிறது.

Go Puja

As per the saying “gāvo vishvasya mātarah”, cows have the status of mothers because like mothers they give milk to all humans.

Our tradition is to do special Go Puja after Uttarayana. Those unable to have cows at home can do at the nearby goshala. If even that is not possible, one can keep a vigraha or picture at home and do puja.

Such punya-kala-s are also a good occasion to help goshalas as per our ability.

A laghu puja paddhati, and a more detailed puja paddhati for those who are able, is released in multiple scripts for Go Puja.
